Hi Emily,
I hope you had a wonderful time this morning. You are such a doll I enjoyed our short meeting! Please thank your husband again for allowing me to get drunk in the front seat!! That little fellow on my left never said a word....But I had a blast viewing pictures we took while in Montana. Come stay with us your next trip here and keep in touch!! I'll be keeping up with you too. Love your music!!

Hi Emily. I met you at the Compassionate Friends Conference in Utah and my daughter Miranda sang with you on stage with the siblings for "There is peace". It was amazing. You are amazing. I remember having a conversation with you about the clock...3 numbers and your dream that inspired the song "whisper to me". I still have your CD. It has helped me through the darkest moments of my life and I thank you for that with such compassion I can not even express. My daughter who sang with you (Miranda) just lost her 21 year old boyfriend (Zach) in a car accident. I gave her all of the comfort and support that I know how. I gave her all of my love and support, books, etc.. Just the other day I handed her your CD. She began to cry and told me that your music is so powerful she is not even ready to hear it. Which I hope you know is a tribute to how much your songs mean. You give all of us a part of your precious sister with every note that you sing; so much so that it heals the weak and greiving. I hope you know how much you gave to every parent there that weekend. I adore you and often think of and pray for you. Thank you so much for everything you have given to every bereaved parent that has the honor of hearing your loving tribute to Annie...

Hello! I'm Behnam from Iran. To tell the truth right now that I'm writing this, I'm listening to your song:"I would".
ACtually when I first listened to your musics, I just couldn't breathe! In fact, in the way I see it the reason that makes your music interesting and impressive, is YOUR AFFECTIVE,WARM AND Artfull voice and of course, beautiful Piano.
You've discovered a new land in music.
I Hope You'll Accomplish and Succeed more than before.
Love you,...,Behnam

Emily, I must be getting old. A few moments ago, I was impressed with a memory of lunch at marketstreet some years past when you threw a glass of water at Earl Stevenson. The years have solidified your justification at that act. Just a note to let you know that the years have kindled in kindness the memories I have of you. I hope that notes bring more satisfaction than numbers. I have learned that poetry trumps petroleum.
Be well and know you are remembered, Phil

Emily,
I hope you are well. Your name was given to me by Ferrell Marshall of our LA office and I'm contacting you from PricewaterhouseCoopers to see if you might be interested in being featured in Keyword, our alumni magazine. Published twice a year, each issue of Keyword focuses on a different industry. The next issue is entertainment and media. There is a "career change" article that features a PwC alum now working in a new field that is related to the issue content, in this case, to entertainment and media.
Participating would entail a phone interview of about 1 hour with our copy writers, and if you have a high res press image you like, allowing us to reproduce it in the magazine. We would want to schedule the interview for the week of 12/1 -- just after Thanksgiving. I hope to hear from you soon.
Best,
Amos Klausner

I am getting more and more worried about the economy and global meltdown.
The more things change the more they remain the same. The fundamental challenges we face today have changed little since Chaucer penned his observations on life and distilled them in a set of tales. In the modern city of Canterbury University Students analyse and dissect the meanings conveyed in texts set in that very locale in the 1300’s.
Youngsters face today’s Jekyll and Hyde society not knowing that the Constants remain; love, betrayal, desire, fear. Each story conveys a lesson as we study for our degree in the University of Life, the big diploma mill of which we are all Alumni. We sit grinning like Cheshire cats, thinking we have all the answers.
We call it a success when we pollute our atmosphere shooting down our own Satellite USA 193, Market Street Credibility is our preferred accreditation and recognition from our peers and fellow consumers, we Poison our Planet for Profit. Banks have crashed before and remember – you can’t eat money.
Globalization has consequences. Everything we do has consequences, even something simple like buying firewood. The Oregon ODA advises not to obtain anything from out-of-state because of all the insects and diseases it might carry. That is just a relatively local issue. Imagine all the things that are carried around the world each day – each hour. We must protect our future, just as we should remember our past. All over the world, From the UK to the USA and the Seychelles to Egypt, still, yes, STILL, there is no REAL alternative to fossil fuels.
Are we all going to purgatory in a wheelbarrow telling each other stories to pass the time? Sometimes I wonder!
Sorry guys, I had a long day and feel sick of the world. Rant Over!

Dear Emily,
In October.2006 I lost my son to suicide. As a mother, this was the most horrific event of my life. It is not right for a mother to bury a child. Your song "Precious Child" has forever touched my soul. It sings the words my heart feels. Only those who have experienced a sudden, tragic loss such as your family and my family and many others, really know the pain and hopelessness one feels with that type of loss. Thank you for singing the song of hope for me. God Bless You. Oh, I must tell you that it was on my I-Pod and I don't even know how it got on there. I was on a plane heading to Utah to visit my sister when I heard this song. It was no accident that your song was put on my I-Pod even though we still have no idea who put it there. God Bless You and thank you for singing such beautiful songs. Especially those for those of us healing and dealing with such grief and deep loss.

Emily,
You and I talked for about 30 minutes after your performance during the 2006 Biodiesel Expo and Convention in San Diego. Since then I have been researching an investor for my biodiesel plant. Its a high stress job trying to raise millions at a time. I have been working on it for 2 years. If you remember I am from Mississippi. We spoke right after you came from backstage. You signed some cd's for me. This week I may have a commitment on my plan. If not I was considering giving up on it and start looking for a life elsewhere. I pulled some items out of my office today, one was your autographed cd. I opened it upa and what you wrote inspired me to go on a little longer. (Never Give Up). I just wanted you to know. Best wishes. Bill Roncali

Hey Emster - Miss you much. Still the same ol same ol here downtown. Give a buzaroonie when you have a few careless minutes and we can update. All my family is aok - Mads has memorized the book "how to be a teenager", and AJ and I spend hours at night driving slowly around the neighborhood. And you and yours? - Are the girls musically inclined - probably just starting to get interested in tunes and songs?
